As a follow up to the previous post, here are the 10 breakfast suggestions that can be whipped up in a jiffy! These nutritious and yummy breakfast ideas are also ideal for packed lunches!
1. Pizza Toast
Ingredients Bread, BBQ/Tomato Sauce, Meat (cooked)/Ham, Cheese.
Instructions Spread sauce on bread, add the meat/ham and finish by topping it with cheddar or mozzarella cheese. Pop it in the toaster for 5 minutes and cut in quarters (or any other shape).
Healthier Choice: Replace white bread with wholemeal or multi-grain bread.

2. Microwave Cheesy Scrambled Eggs
Ingredients
2 Eggs, 2 tbsp Milk, Pepper, Salt, Shredded Cheese, Cherry Tomato
Instructions
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine eggs, milk, pepper and salt (to taste) and mix.
Microwave (uncovered) on high for 45 seconds; stir with a fork. Continue cooking until eggs are almost set, about 45 seconds more. Remove from microwave.
With a clean fork, stir in shredded cheddar cheese. Wait till cheese has melted, then top with cherry tomato.

3. Egg Mayo Sandwich
Ingredients 2 Eggs, Salt, Pepper, Mayo, Bread
Instructions Boil the eggs, then mash with fork. Add salt and pepper to taste, and mix with preferred amount of mayonnaise. Spread on buttered bread.

4. Ham & Cheese & Egg Sandwiches
Ingredients Ham, Bread, 2 Eggs, Salt, Pepper, Sliced Tomato, Cheese
Instructions Fry eggs, fold into quarters and place on toasted bread. Then add ham, followed by a tomato slice and cheese, then sandwich.

5. Bread-Rolled Sushi
Ingredients Sheet Seaweed, Bread, Butter, Fillings (tuna/salmon spread)
Instructions Slice the skin of the bread away (optional), and butter it. Place the sheet seaweed unto the bread, ensuring it adheres. Spread your choice of filling thinly on the bread, then roll it up like a sushi. Cut into bite-sized rounds and serve!

6. Fruit Kebabs
Ingredients Fruits
Instructions Take grapes, strawberries and apples, cut the apples into slices and soak them in salt water for awhile (to prevent browning), halve the strawberries then stick them all onto a satay stick!
*Any hard fruit will do (don’t use bananas if you want them to last!)

7. Wholegrain Cracker with Toppings
Ingredients Wholegrain Crackers, Eggs, Cheese, Ham, Mashed Avocado
Instructions Place fried eggs, quartered cheddar cheese slice, ham and mashed avocado on a wholegrain cracker.

8. Mushroom + Pasta + Fruit Combo
Ingredients 3 Baby Portobello Mushrooms, Olive Oil, Cheese, Cherry Tomatoes, Rainbow Fusilli, Tomato/ Cream Sauce, Dried Fruit
Instructions Drizzle olive oil over mushrooms and toast them with cheese in the centre. Add cherry tomatoes. Boil the fusilli and toss with olive oil or sauce of your choice. Pack the mushrooms and pasta together with some dried fruit (raisins/apricots/figs) to end off on a sweet note.

9. Scrambled Eggs + Bread + Veggie Sticks + Fruit Combo
Ingredients Eggs, Wholemeal Bread, Baby Carrot Sticks, Dried Fruit, Ketchup/Sauce of your choice
Instructions Scramble the eggs, and place them together with wholemeal bread cut-outs (bread can be cut into interesting shapes using a cookie cutter). Throw in a few flash-boiled halved baby carrot sticks. Also pack in some dried fruit (raisins/cranberry/blueberry). Place ketchup into a separate compartment (to be used as dip for bread, carrot sticks and egg).
Healthier Choice: Choose ketchup that does not contain high fructose corn syrup.

10. Cheese Toast + Baked Beans + Fruit Combo
Ingredients Bread, Cheese, Baked Beans, Fruit
Instructions Toast bread with cheese and add baked beans. Pack together with fresh fruits (grapes, apple) for added vitamins!
